Fast Eddie's History

My wife Elisha and I took over the iconic Bearden’s Restaurant on Pearl Road in March of 1985. Newly married and very excited about bringing our dream of owning our own restaurant to a reality, Fast Eddie’s was born.

Our restaurant’s tag line was “Creative Burger Cuisine”; and we sold a lot of burgers! However our comfort food choices like city chicken, meatloaf, and fish fries, to name a few, quickly became as popular as our burgers. A fact that was prevalent in all dishes coming out of the kitchen was quality ingredients prepared by our experienced kitchen staff. That along with genuine hospitality was the foundation of our success at Fast Eddie’s.

After a major remodel in 1987, our popularity grew and we enjoyed great success for nearly ten years. In 1994, the City of Parma bought the property and built a fire station there.

We cherish the amazing, and still relevant relationships we formed with both employees and customers during our 30 years of owning restaurants in the Cleveland area . . . And it all started with a little restaurant on Pearl Road in Parma.

Our Team

Owning and operating restaurants for over 30 years has not only given me the opportunity to meet and build relationships with our customers, but also with our many employees.  Our success always starts and sustains with our staff.

Consistently providing an enjoyable dining experience directly involves both Front of House and Back of House staff.  Their dedication and professionalism has always been the cornerstone of our success!

Fast Eddie's Today

We Love Parma!

We are very excited to return to the city where my restaurant career started. This time our children Ed, Jr. and Elise are joining us in bringing back Fast Eddie’s after 30 years from when Elisha and I served our first burger.

We have been busy over the years, with Eddie’s Pizzeria Cerino keeping us the busiest for the last seven of those years! Fast Eddie’s has been a favorite topic of our loyal customers at the Pizzeria, which put the thought in my mind that a return of Fast Eddie’s could be a great opportunity.

When the City of Parma and the community supported the major renovation of Parmatown Mall to The Shoppes of Parma, our family agreed that this was the opportunity we were looking for.

There are a few changes from the original Fast Eddie’s restaurant. Fast Eddie’s today features a private dining room that seats up to 50, a wrap-around bar, and a beautiful patio. What fans and newcomers alike can expect to stay the same is our commitment to providing excellence in both food and service.

Our family is anxious to show the community our appreciation for the years of support of our “Eddie’s” restaurants with our commitment to bringing a quality, fun and beautiful new restaurant to the heart of Parma.
